Cathy LaClair

Cathy LaClair is a Vermont jewelry artist and skilled goldsmith whose work celebrates the natural beauty of metal, gemstones, and freshwater pearls. Born and raised in Vermont, Cathy discovered her passion for jewelry-making in 2000 and eventually left a 24-year career with IBM to pursue her art full time.

Working from her Vermont studio, Cathy hand-fabricates each piece, drawing inspiration from nature, texture, color, and the organic character of natural stones. Her jewelry blends traditional metalsmithing techniques with a contemporary, personal aesthetic, creating distinctive pieces designed to be worn, treasured, and connected to the person who wears them.

A longtime member and active leader within the Milton Artists’ Guild, Cathy is passionate not only about making art, but about building community through creativity and supporting fellow artists.
