Learn to Draw

Closed Saturday, Aug 8 10:00am – 4:00pm Milton Artists Guild
Learn to Draw

This workshop introduces essential drawing techniques for creating both realistic spaces and expressive portraits. Students will learn how to use One Point and Two Point Perspective techniques to create the illusion of depth and dimension on a flat surface. Students will also learn how to draw the human face in front, profile, and three-fourths views by learning about the correct proportions of the face, and how to draw faces of various genders and age groups. By the end of this workshop students will leave with the necessary knowledge to help them get started with drawing and continue their artistic journeys beyond the classroom.

No experience necessary. Students are responsible for bringing the following supplies: Several pieces of paper or a drawing pad (at least 8.5"x11",) pencil (a No. 2 or HB,) eraser, and a straight edge or triangle ruler.

This workshop is taught by Robert Waldo Brunelle, Jr.
