Explore the rich, expressive world of oil and cold wax in this introductory workshop! You’ll learn the fundamentals of this versatile medium while experimenting with a variety of surfaces, tools, and techniques. Discover how to build depth, texture, and luminous layers as you create unique, tactile works of art. Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their practice. Basic composition knowledge helpful.

Open to all skill levels. All supplies provided. Aprons are available upon request but students are recommended to wear clothes they're ok with getting stained. Students should bring a large box to take their art home in as it will need a few days to dry. This workshop is recommended for people ages 18+.

This workshop is taught by Becky Chappell.

About Becky:

Becky Chappell has been a practicing artist for over 30 years. She has exhibited and taught classes such as Paint & Sip, Watercolor, Pastel, Mixed Media and Collage, Oil and Cold Wax Medium, Scratchboard and Acrylic in Colorado, Oregon and Vermont.
